For a party which says it's against Europe, UKIP do a decent impression of the Polish government.

Oh dear, Lindyloo, not sure where you got such information from, but I'd like to see the evidence to back up what you say ! I suspect that you are mistaking UKIP for that dreadful group that love a bit of fighting and go under the name of English Defence League. Or perhaps you are mistaking UKIP for Britain first, who seem to have a similar policy to EDL. Maybe you are in fact mixing UKIP up with BNP who have had a reputation for 'slight' violence ! Yes I am aware that some UKIP members are ex-BNP, and that is why they are 'ex' - they became unhappy with how the BNP were behaving.

With regard to getting into parliament, at the last General Election UKIP obtained around 28% of the vote - they managed to get ONE MP into parliament, whereas the Conservatives obtained around 33% of the vote - and they managed to form a government !!!!!! That just demonstrates how the gerrymandered boundaries have great effect over voting ! If proportional representation (PR) had been adopted then ( a much fairer way of voting) it is believed that UKIP would have obtained 80 MPs !!!!!

So please listen to what Nigel Farage has to say about things - he is the only politician that will answer straight-forward questions with an honest and straight-forward, un-flowered answer. Can you name me any other politician who does the same sort of thing........

In a UK TV political programme, on Thursday evenings after the BBC News, called Question Time and chaired by David Dimbleby, I have noticed that Nigel Farage is regularly asked to be on the 'panel'. Why is this ? Because he answers any questions, thrown at the panel, in a straight forward, honest and very lucid manner..........................
such a refreshing change !

Well I did ask for evidence of such statements like you have just made. Where is the evidence that Nigel Farage is a neo-fascist ? I believe that your statement/accusation has no foundation. Either provide the evidence or cease trying to blacken Nigel Farage's name.

Neither have you put forward any names of any politicians who can and do answer straight forward questions with honest and straight forward answers....... so where are those names?

Jeremy Corbyn for one, Dennis Skinner for another.

Both of them have embarrassed the tories on numerous occasions and have caused re-think on legislation. The debacle over tax credits being a glaring example.

Yes, I can name every politician who is NOT in the Conservative party - why?...............it's the nature of the opposition to oppose and to SAY what they would do if in power........ Once in power, their promises diminish!

There's a huge difference between SAYING and DOING - it surely doesn't take a grown up to understand that?

Re: Nigel Farage

I have a lot of time for Dennis Skinner, but not sure about Corbyn as yet.

I suppose 2 names out of a possible 650 MPs isn't too bad !!

Where's the evidence for Nigel Farage being a neo-fascist then?

Re: Nigel Farage

Lindyloo - have you watched footage of Farage in action ?
Giving the Euro arena what for - no one can touch him for getting the message out there loud and clear. He never stumbles - always clear
