I thought I would keep that a secret Hazel - they are a rare delicacy and exquisitly "rubberly" I get them from the old witch down the road. A nice old lady, but she is rather unfortunate and has the biggest wart on her nose I have ever seen. No amount of boiling her nose in "eggy water" can get rid of it.

Ah you've had them done the Chinese way. So now not only got a blooming big wart on her nose but it'll have gone all red from the boiling.

Sleeping with a toad under your pillow cures insomnia.

Re: Is that a wart?

Years ago my sister was taken to our GP because she had a wart on her finger. Believe it or not the doctor bought it off her for a penny ! The doctor was Professor Eric Wilkes, founder of St Luke's Hospice in Sheffield.
I can't remember if the cure worked or not though to be honest.

You have to admire the efforts of these advertisers.

I have on my screen a panel advertising painless removal of GENITAL warts, presumably someone spotted the word WART & put on the ad.

There must be a way to confuse the buggers.
