Perhaps he should have bee the leader of the opposition, then, Foxy. As we know from the current situation, being a nut job is not an obstacle to attaining high office.
There's a great many people in Dianne Abbott's constituency of Hackney North and Stoke Newington (explains a lot) who think she's the best thing since sliced bread. In Westminster it's seats that matter, not the %age of the total vote.
I think the Tories appreciate her more than the Labour Partly does, LD, she is a valuable asset when it comes to losing an election.
I can only speak personally, of course, but I find her very entertaining.
Unfortunately, we don't see much of her these days.
Or perhaps I just don't watch the right TV channels.
