Re: Neighbours!

Back in the 90s, our neighbours cost us £10,000.00, I joke not.

Did you try buying them on the internet?

LD, if only we had tinternet back then.

The ins and outs would take an age to type, just thinking of a way to make it concise.

Just Right?

Tell me about your neighbours.
I want them all to bugga off - there's too many neighbours in this world. It shouldn't be allowed.

No, joking apart, I've had one lot of bad neighbours ie noisy parties type.

And another place - when I moved there, I was told the neighbours were 'odd''.
(my view) What's wrong with them being 'odd' if they don't bother anyone?

Local assholes (sorry, but it annoys me when folk poke fun at people who are perceived as being 'different' or 'odd') and kids didn't see it that way. They hounded them and threw stuff over into their garden, eggs on windows and chanting/shouting abuse at the girl who sat in her bedroom window most of the day.

I got the police involved, more than once. Sorted. Then things changed, they threw eggs at my window. Police again. Sorted.

Where I am now, it's a quiet cul-de-sac of 11 detached bungalows. Nothing untoward happens,(yawn) except for dogs barking and car door slamming.
Two properties have recently been sold, so I await with baited breath to see what our new neighbours will be like
