I was going to buy a Panasonic or a Toshiba VHS to DVD recorder but never got round to it and when l did, they'd been discontinued!I too would love to have my family VHS tapes transferred to DVD but when l looked into it, it was very expensive.
I still have two VHS players that l watch them on. One has a DVD to VHS facility, it's a shame it wasn't the other way round!!

It has just occurred to me that somewhere we still have a VHS cassette of our wedding day (29 years ago).Unfortunately, I have now thrown away our old VHS player thinking we'd never have a need for it again, having forgotten about our wedding video.
Now what do I do? (Keep quiet about it, I suppose!)
