I read it and fell in love with boats, though I couldn't fit more than 10 on it......I also fell in love with Triumphs after Moses descended on one.

So, the Bible did affect my life.

Surely no-one is supposed to take it literally? I attempted to read it but I was too young I think to see it for what it was. It is full of allegory it seemed to me, whereby a cautionary tale is wrapped in fanciful words and scary scenarios. If you do take it as literal then you are going to end up with one messed up head I would have thought. I intend to have another go at it some time in the future, but this time with a wiser head on my shoulders - purely from an historical viewpoint that is.
