To me that's almost hibernation.
It's the result of good living and abiding by the maxim
Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise !
Sorry about the back though, that's what the building trade leaves you with....along with pots of money

Re: A Siesta.

Yes, I have a nap after lunch whenever I can. Often I drop off to sleep and experience a strange feeling on waking up wondering what whether it is the morning. On days when my timetable prevents me from having the nap I feel decidedly out of sorts.

You need another 2 hours.....then you may get 3 out of 3 joking apart.....the building trade didn't help with my back but the main reason(s) for the bad back, initially, were 2 motorbike crashes and a bi-product of my time in the military.

An op could make things a tad better but could make it worse.
That option I may consider when it becomes absolutely unbearable.

As for the money......I live in hope

Re: A Siesta.

An afternoon nap...
What's one of those?
On a serious note though I find carbs at lunchtime make me sluggish, protein and salad/fruit it has to be

I do remember dozing off in the afternoon in Spain last year....
I woke up in a blind panic!!!!

No lunch time naps here I tend to nod off after my evening meal then wake up with a start confused and cross with myself

Re: A Siesta.

I get up before 5am every day but try to avoid sleeping in the day as it stops me sleeping a bedtime ( usually around 10.30). If I feel really tired I occasionally give in to an afternoon nap, around an hour, but that usually indicates that I have some minor illness or I have had a late night

Re: A Siesta.

Hi

I think Mups has been had.

Bedlingtons are cunning beasts.

They just pretended to be asleep when she was.

They just waited until they heard her snoring and then went partying.

When they heard her stir, they just quietly went back to their beds and pretended nothing had happened.
