Re: Mouse trap

I know the problem, you are not feeding them enough, they are too light to trigger the trap.

Re: Mouse trap

This is the best mousetrap - they are brilliant, a dab of peanut butter on the 'tongue' and the mouse is as good as dead once you set it. It is very sensitive and far more effective than the old fashioned thing in the earlier picture.

Re: Mouse trap

Will suggest that one Jimmy but then we'd have to deal with a live mouse!! Maybe the cat would like it!

Wrinkly - yes, maybe that's why. Must be a skinny mouse.

That looks lethal Bruce. The one we have is very sensitive too but not enough for this blighter!!

Re: Mouse trap

We had mice and bought trap didn't like it so bought humane one. Hubby found mouse in it took it in the garden and let it go, it was probably back in fore he was, so I decided I'd take the next one to the park, next morning one in trap put trap in carrier bag, then in another carrier bag tied tightly, threw dogs in the car and screeched off to the park before the mouse escaped from the trap and got into the car. Arrived safely at park carefully let mouse out, Well sort of shook it out at arms length, really but watched it scamper off. Following day same procedure twice more, all together we got 13 mice which I set free in the park. Some weeks later one of the gardeners was telling me they'd had an influx of mice eating the bulbs in the little garden centre they ran....Ooooops

Re: Mouse trap

Oooooops Hazel You obviously did them a favour by providing them with some lovely rich pickings.
