Re: Daytime television.

My television is switched on in the morning, it's a 'noise and picture' in the corner most of the day and most of the time. I just watch what I want to and ignore everything else.

Lately though I have started to either turn it off or change channel whenever the subject of 'coronavirus' comes on, difficult as it's on a lot of the time but it's tended to become very depressing as time goes on so best not to watch it.

Hey ... look on the bright side mate.

Bring back public hangings, think of the TV entertainment opportunities.

Yes, what a good idea. I can think of a few that I would nominate for the 'honour' of going public in that way. However, that is against the law so I tend to rely on Karma, see my signature!

Re: Daytime television.

I am going to confess that l occasionally record the daily afternoon film on Channel 5.

Most are rubbish with chronic acting but sometimes they are really not bad!

I cringe when they say to the baddie at the end, ‘It’s over’!
They are so predictable!

Re: Daytime television.

Much prefer the radio.
Radio 4
Radio 2 only in the car
Radio 4 Extra never. All programmes seem to be 1 of 10..
Local radio never - inane crap.

Yes me too David. Mine goes on as soon as I wake up and it's on all through the day. Only switch it off when I go out.
I do like the TV on in the evenings, mainly for company - although just lately there are a couple of programmes I really look forward too.
