Why is it...........that when you go to shut the laptop down before you rush out, you invariably get the message that says........ do not shut down.....installing 1 of 32 updates and 15 minutes later.

.... would it really matter if you shut it down????

Yes, Linden, it would make a big difference.

If you get that message up on your laptop - and we have all been through this - just close the lid, and walk away from it. It is a fully automatic operation, and your laptop will close when it's ready.
