Like nothing else isn't it Pats, a very memorable stench.

Sorry, I can love most animals, but I confess I do not like rats one bit. The Lepto they carry is of bad enough, but strangely, it's something to do with their tails that I can't abide as well.
A friend used to keep tame ones, and the bloomin' things used to run along her worktops - revolting.
I wondered if tame ones carry disease like wild ones?
