Re: Can I have some good wishes for a friend.

Thank you everyone all quiet, haven't heard much recently I'm hoping that means she's with him.

My husband is going to the hospital on his way home from work see if she needs anyone to sit with her until her husband arrives.

I believe the loss of a spleen means being on antibiotics for life. True, the liver can regenerate.

I hope he's going to be ok.

ETA. It's as I thought, it filters blood so he will be immuno compromised now. (Prone to infections)

Re: Can I have some good wishes for a friend.

Looking much better this evening, he's talking to family and cracked a joke so I think he's going to be ok. He was more worried about his bike than himself !

Jenny thanks you all she is a believer in good wishes and healing thoughts and convinced it's all helped.

His dad arrived as Steven left at 6pm so Jenny is getting the support she needs.

It must have seemed like her life was over with the problems she has and then this.

Had a little set back and had to go back into surgery, a bleed they didn't see first time, but all is well now. He's cracking jokes again so that's a good sign. His dad is cross about the bike apparently he wasn't to ride it until his dad had said it was ok but he being a teen who knows best decided dad didn't need to know.

They all learn to listen in the end Julie, just a shame it wasn't sooner rather than later.
