Ania isn't it a heavenly spot If it wasn't such a very long drive in a tinny little car I would be off tomorrow to my favourite cottage down there below Cardigan with its own little beach .
There's a shingle beach just below my house and it's (in my biassed opinion) even nicer than the Welsh coast. Maybe you and Chloe should come and stay in my flat!

Meg - The Isle of Wight has a walking festival starting on Friday.

If you enjoy walking.......in the company of others, it's an excellent way of getting away from it all.

They both sound lovely thank you for the suggestions.

Unfortunately I don't travel well these days so don't think I will be going far at the moment and it would not resolve my 'issues' which would be there on my return .

You are right Carole thank you .
I think it is going to be a case of 'what can't be cured must be endured ' so I will have to bite my lip and plod on regardless
