Re: Sunbathing
I tan really easily even when sitting in the shade, so that's what I tend to do most of the time and just lie in the sun for ten minutes or so with cream on. My face and hands are always darker than the rest of me the whole year round.Re: Sunbathing
I will never forget the time when I was admitted to hospital as a young person.Re: Sunbathing
I spent my early childhood in Africa and tan easily. In fact when I returned to the UK and went to school I was subjected to some pretty harsh racial abuse............not that anyone called it that in those days. I tan quite well and love the feel of warm air on my skin. My intentions are good and I always have suncream ready to use, but generally forget to use it.Re: Sunbathing
I don't sunbathe because for one thing, I simply cannot stand lying out in the sun doing nothing. I get far too fidgety. Yes, I could read a book, but that would involve sitting up and then if I got a tan, I'd have a stripy neck where all the folds areRe: Sunbathing
Re: Sunbathing
Well seeing you asked Dex...The power of the Australian sun is not something that some visitors from colder places educate themselves on adequately before they jump into it, spend too long in it and end up in a hospital burns ward. It's the same with where they swim and where they decide to drive to without adequate preparation or prior knowledge of the "inhabitants"..and I'm not talking about our first nations people. ..Not to mention skin cancer.Re: Sunbathing
