Re: irrational fear

Rodents give me the jitters.
I think if we sat down and started analysing ourselves we would all go potty, you’d find you had something wrong with you you never even heard of and I for one don’t need any more problems, it’s tough enough coping with what you know you have. In the old days a lot of the stuff they have specialist names for now was simply put down to ‘Nerves’ or ‘Brain sickness’, You had ‘fidgety’ people, ‘Giddy’ people “Delicate’ people ‘Weak minded’ and just plain ‘Mad’ I'm not saying that's right, but it was more easy to understand and you had a fair idea you weren't the only one with it, if the Doc said you were suffering from nerves then so were millions more, safety in numbers sort of thing.
I’m just happy I’m alive and kicking and what the eye doesn't see the heart doesn't grieve about.
I’m sure if I offered my body up for a general overhaul they would find dozens of new things wrong with me, and more worries for me to add to me list.

Another pearl given freely.
Joking aside, I'd say it's usually a cry for help

What's being a "mere male" got to do with it Alan?

Everyone likes an underdog or one that is tormented or even persecuted. It is fashionable these days to 'suffer' from some mental illness or other.

I is fashionable: one who sets the fashion standards.

Re: irrational fear

You 2 women fall into my trap you see as you consider yourselves healers. BIG mistake with a person like myself: an EXPLOITER.

I'm dishing out FREE lessons on how to avoid being 'groomed' here.

We need a bigger audience!

I certainly don't consider myself a healer MKJ. I just have a huge interest in mental health conditions.

I don't actually think you are an exploiter at all.
