Good evening, hope the Nanna duty went ok Myrtle. I don't have any grandchildren yet .....maybe one day soon
Had a day of housework, then walked to the local shop to get a few bits and pieces, couldn't find my door key as I was leaving the shop so went back in, looked around the check out, looked in the basket and informed them that I had left me key there somewhere and they took my details.
Then I walked home and hoped that my neighbour was in as she has a spare key. Guess what was in the door as I got home .......hadn't taken the key out of the lock. Good thing I wasn't gone for long.
I had been distracted by something as I left the house but I must be a bit more careful. If I was driving I would have needed the keys for the car but I just had a single key on this occasion.
Carol glad you enjoyed the day with the girls !
Venus didn't you have any rain today, just wondering as you said you were painting outside. It rained a lot here.

Hello everyone/anyone

First day of nanna duty over ! They are 11 and 7 so they just get on with their own thing these days while I relax on the settee (I go to their house)

On duty again tomorrow morning then dancing in the afternoon - worst thing is I have to take all my stuff to theirs and have a shower, etc. to get myself ready

Anita ... it's easily done with keys ...

Good afternoon, bit of a blustery day here but drying my washing nicely. Hello to Leeby, I am new to this thread myself but I'm a bit too far south to make the meet unfortunately.
Am trying to get all my housework done as have a lot to do next week.
