Re: Bike ride
Re: Bike ride
Ok, as everyone knows, I have several projects on the go including, the BMW Z3, the Honda CB750 F2N, well another one was started today. Circa 1993, my Mother won a Bicycle in a competition, it was a Raleigh Pioneer Venture, which having requested the large frame version, fitted me perfectly. I did many miles, taking me 8.5 miles each way to work and back, but, in about 2002 it was relegated to the bottom of the garden, where it has stayed for 20 ish years.Re: Bike ride
Just been to Barry's neck of the woods (Mansfield) found myself a donor Bike, exactly the same model, just one size smaller frame. Its got the ungetable twist gear change and. a good set of decals to get copies made, trouble is, now I've got it home its to good to break so I won't, I'll just carry on looking for replacement parts for my original bike.Re: Bike ride
That's great, Spitfire! I admire renovation projects like that one; the results are so satisfying! What are the chances you would a donor so similar?
