I'd like to remind people that a man IS innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Kavanaugh was not only never arrested, he never even went to trial, thus no guilty verdict. Our laws are built upon this simple concept.

The "Me Too Movement" is actively seeking to change that concept to one of GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT. They are treading on dangerous ground.

Valid point! It reiterates the need for anonymity in such cases. However, this surely contradicts a somewhat over-arching principle of "Me Too"

Good post Bakerman. How come women are only raped by the rich and famous and then accuse them many years after the event? Maybe I am being too cynical, but there seems to be a news report nearly every week now about such cases
Ronaldo, ( the footballer) is the latest man to be accused.

With the utmost of respect, I suspect that cases that don't involve the rich and famous are less likely to be blanket reported.

I hasten to add that this claim is without any effort of research on my part and I am more than happy to retract if anyone is any the wiser.
