Re: Useless Inventions

Great Topic......its one I can relate to...lol

How about a Replacement for the Referees Whistle !!

Just press a button on either aerosol/electronic to produce a Whistle type sound... thus not restricting verbal instructions

Yep... Others thought that were a stupid idea/invention too....

But I thought it were a good idea..

Yes indeed, only the ziplock ones for me too. And a huge thank you to Birds Eye for doing the same with their Garden Peas bags. There are at least some with some common sense at Birds Eye. Now all we need is every other item of Frozen Food manufacturer to do the same!!

I have pyrex jugs with proper markings, it's just those stupid plastic ones that don't.
It is a plastic one, Mups, but is strong enough to hold boiling water. The markings are in red and can be clearly seen from every angle - including looking down inside it. Had it about six months now, it is in frequent use and the markings have not faded at all.

I had to laugh when I looked at this, it has taken the British 60 years not to come to terms with metrication. Fluid ounces and ml on measuring jugs, mph and kph on speedos... Ya gotta laugh

Apart from my metric cups I have one measuring jug, its 100% metric too.

Any chocolate in resealable bags is a waste of time. As if it would ever get resealed.
