I remember a girl at primary school with the name Morwena. I'd never heard that before or since.

I've heard some unusual names over the years, but I can't remember them.

When I was at school there was a girl called Rosalba, never heard of that name since. Personally I don't like the name but I'd never have told her :-P

I know these are not unusual names but in my family tree (Back as far as 1425) I have 14 Richards 22 Williams and 30 James, 5 Maryanne's, 7 Anne,s One strange one, Agapina, a 4 times great aunt.. I am the only Fred.

In my family tree t there is a Darby, a Jute and a Triphemina.
Currently one of my friends is named Nova she is over 70.

Triphemina now that is unusual! Doesn't trip of the tongue easily though does it?

That brought back memories.

When I was a child, our curate's wife was called Euphemia and, to add to her woes, her surname was Bathie.
