My recollection of Easter holidays in the late 1950s / early 1960s was we had three weeks off.

I can go back to my school days when we older boys were taken out of school during summer afternoons to help out on the farms hay making and harvesting. Mind you this was in the 1940s long before most, if not all of you, were born.

I think you may find they go back on the 23rd April, Susie - the 22nd is Easter Monday.

Yes, very lucky as I didn't much like school, much preferred to be doing something else, anything else!
