Re: My unusual childhood!

Your childhood reads like an Enid Blyton novel Tara, you were very privileged.

Tara, liked your story, a childhood to cherish the memories of....now tell us, do you believe in ghosts today?

I didn't feel privileged, along with my younger sisters I had to work quite hard helping out in our Father's horticultural business from a young age. I also used to get thrashed within an inch of my life many a time, for my misdemeanours, none of them particularly serious.

Our previous home, a 1610 farmhouse, where we lived between 1997-2012, had the weirdest things happening in it, although it didn't apparently have any activity before we moved in, make of that what you will. My husband, a scientist, and I thought it was a hoax at first, but as things happened before our eyes it didn't seem to be the case. However, we do believe there is a natural explanation for everything, and one day science will explain it, even if it can't at present.

Re: My unusual childhood!

Tara, a bit off topic here, but I think some of us are more in tune to the paranormal than others and the ghosts have selective choosiness in who they make themselves know to. And I shall say no more....some think me enough of a crackpot already.

Re: My unusual childhood!

That sounds like a hard but character building childhood, tarantula - thanks for sharing.

I've always believed in spirits, ghosts, call them what you will.

Re: My unusual childhood!

Tara,

Thank you for sharing your childhood story with us. I found it very interesting to say the least.
I, too, believe in Ghosts. I have some stories to tell, but not today.....

Blue
