No no! We want a happy ending.

Not scared of her - just scared for her. I hope she remains safe and well - and that no idiot feels the urge to shoot/harm her.

They are using a drone to try and find her.

A wild cat which escaped from a Ceredigion zoo has been "humanely destroyed", the county council has confirmed.

Lilleth, the Eurasian lynx, escaped from Borth Wild Animal Kingdom, near Aberystwyth, at some point in the last three weeks.

The council said that despite "exhaustive multi agency efforts to recapture" it, they received advice on Friday that the risk to public safety had increased.

They were afraid she would hurt humans looking for food but didn't think to give her food laced with sedatives and had to shoot her instead.

What a sad lot we humans are.

Re: missing lynx - are you scared ?

The more I hear about this the more I think the couple running the zoo need to step back and hand it over to someone actually knows what they are doing. You can't watch a film we bought a zoo and then go out and buy one, it takes more knowledge than that if you are a novice never dealt with wild animals before.

What's funny and appealing in a film is down right dangerous to the animals in real life as we have seen with poor Lilith. The pen is not suitable and broken down apparently, why are they allowed to keep animals like Lilith in there ?
