Northern folk are more friendly and in particular Lancashire people, and the food is tastier as well
Sadly the towns have now changed with 50% of the population now immigrants.
The girls and women who worked in the mills were always so cheerful and so pretty too.

My family live in Lancashire, I'm on my own here in Wales apart from my husband and his family.
