My wife is taking this news really hard. As a young female sound engineer trying to make her way in the music bizz, she worked with Quo, Thin Lizzie Rory Gallagher and Bowie amongst others. Of all these, she always said Rick Parfit was one of the nicest people she ever met in show business. Rock on Rick - 2016 continues to suck........

I saw Rossi being interviewed a couple of weeks ago and he absolutely refused to comment on the health of Rick Parfit. Just kept saying that Rick would make a statement soon. No doubt he knew that he wouldn't last much longer.

Let's hope he's up there with Bowie, Lake, Cohen, Burns and Prince having a bloody good 'Jam'.

WE have lost some true greats this year, but heaven must be having some great gigs RIP Rick and my thoughts are with his family today.
