Good morning everyone,What a night we had here. Terrific thunderstorms and torrential rain. Am waiting for it to ease up so I can take Amber out to relieve herself.

buenas dias all. No change in the weather here, just sunshine and blue sky. No major plans today, Mr Clumsy is going to the clinic for another dressing change, next week he gets to have the stitches out. I´m going to meet friends for an hour or so. Life is returning to normal after a hectic couple of weeks. Have a nice day all.

Good morning all.I'm out with my friend this morning - we're going to one of our local towns - Sutton in Ashfield.
There's a lovely park there where we'll have a walk around - down to the lake and back - then leave the car there and have a walk into town - mosey round the precinct and go for a pub lunch.
I reckon I'll be walking about a mile, I'm not entirely free from pain in my ankle yet so I think I'll take a stick just to be on the safe side.
It's lovely & bright here at the moment - hoping it stays like it.

Good morning feeling better today so virus has done its worst I think, but wow what a storm, every time we thought it had gone away and got dogs settled again it came back ! Garden here is absolutely flattened by the rain too just as the hydrangeas and roses came out

Good morning all.Heard two lots of thunder, but wasn't close or loud. Sorry to hear of those of you badly affected.

Just seen forecast for later...looks like heavy rain for this afternoon, so I'd better get out this morning. Shall pop across the road to vote, walk back to the bus stop, and will go to Wilko and look for some more sticky insect traps. (And buy my newspaper).
Later on I need to pull out all the temporary furniture by my French window, and the car boot boxes, and get to the floor in front of my French window, and clear up the wood lice that have appeared again! I had put down wide tape, from carpet to skirting, and up along the door seam, to try and cover all their PoE, but I can see a lot of tiny babies caught in the sticky trap already down there! And a few adults dotted along the way. Getting sick of it.
Wondering whether to bite the bullet and call in a specialist company to get their help. I want to stop them coming in...I don't want to keep hoovering them up.
