Re: Freedom

Our parks are full of perverts. Signs like these pop up from time to time...

Re: Freedom

It never used to worry me walking in the dark when I was younger, however, there have been so many rapes and assaults on women in the locality lately that I wouldn't now take Amber out for a walk after dark. Give me back those unlit dark country lanes I used to walk as a teenager and was never afraid, wouldn't do it now.

Re: Freedom

Can honestly say that it's never occurred to me to be afraid when out walking at night, whether in the country or in the town. These days I'm more concerned about falling over my own feet when no-one knows where I am

No need to worry about That eventuality nowadays, whilst walking, most folks carry a "Dog and Bone".

Good for you Meg, i'm moving to a semi isolated area soon and do you know what! I can't bloody wait

Re: Freedom

As much as I am loathe to admit it I wouldn't walk in isolated areas day or night now, much too fearful.
