I like them too... they're a little weird and offbeat and rather thought provoking.

Re: Has OFF settled down now?

I treat a forum just like I do TV. If I don't like a program I change channels, or I simply don't watch what doesn't appeal to me.

Same on the forums, if the title doesn't appeal I don't read it. If I do read it and its not for me, I move swiftly on.

I'm similar, but in the past I enjoyed taking part in rather more threads than now. But in those days it seems there were more discussions that did not spiral down into petty point scoring. Now, by the time I read/catch up with a serious subject which might interest me it has often deteriorated so I just move on.

Squabbles come and squabbles go that’s only human nature and not doubt there will be many more eruptions, so gather your flowers while ye may tomorrow is another day.
I’ve never hold much optimism where forums are concerned, it would be nice if we all tried to get along with each other, and most do, but there are always the one or two hell bent on putting a spanner in the works, just my thoughts.

But we're all good pals on there, we never quarrel, that's where you'll find me mostly, I've unsubscribed from just about everywhere else!
