Re: Happy Thursday Folk.

Have a good run to the airport in your new car Alan. Happy birthday to Sheila....
It's another dull wet day here in Derbyshire. I'm foregoing my usual Thursday ramble in the countryside in favour of a session at the gym...

Have a good day all.

Good morning fellow members cold but fine here at the moment.

I hope to get the washing dry so fingers crossed it stays fine.
I have masses of dog towels every week with all this mud...

Enjoy your day everyone

That sign reminds me of a well known pool sign..

We don't swim in your toilet. Please don't pee in our pool.

Re: Happy Thursday Folk.

Good afternoon all. Sorry, got very side tracked today.

Happy birthday to Sheila.

Right, going to do myself a sandwich and another cup of tea, then get on with filing allotment documents.

Have a good run in the new car, Alan. How exciting.

Re: Happy Thursday Folk.

Hi May, I don't envy your weather as it is at the moment, brings back memories of my time as a milko for "South coast Dairies" in Littlehampton.
Patricia & I have just been out to do a bit of food shopping etc, its a warm day for us today, in fact I forgot to drape a towel over the steering wheel while we were in the shops & of course when we got in the car the wheel was to hot to touch. After waiting for a few minutes with all the windows & doors open it cooled down enough to drive home.
It probable hit 37c + today which Patricia is not keen on.
With myself having worked outside on various jobs over the years it doesn't bother me so much.
Simmo
