No my parents never told me anything, learnt everything at School from other kids, even the time of the month I didn't know what that was.

Ha! Thank goodness for rabbits i say!
My mum, having kept up an air of total respectability for 11 years suddenly laid the whole kit and caboodle on me in one very intense hour in the summer before high school!
At least she tried to keep it matter of fact, despite her daughter's horrified face... bless her

As a fairly young person, I was looking forward to secondary school and disecting animals because I had visions of being a vet.

Darn ... our syllabus was friggin plants, which was of absolutely of no interest at that time and I didn't even progress to doing Biology O level.

Friends at another school got to do 'animals' and I was so envious.
