Re: Ebay Items

Yes, Patsy, they have feedback comments, if you look it says what percent of the feedback has been positive.

Re: Ebay Items

Ive been to London for an Ebay purchase from North Norfolk and It was well worth it for me .
If its an item I really want and like then I am prepared to go further afield within reason,if it was the other end of the country then no.

Re: Ebay Items

I don't use Ebay much. If it’s not delivered then I’m not interested, I’ll get it cheaper from a slow boat from China as I don’t mind waiting.

Wonder why they don't have reviews - maybe because a lot of the stuff is not new items .............

Re: Ebay Items

If you look through the feedback you soon see what works and what doesn't. Ebay wasn't set up for new items originally it was anything people would have taken to a car boot sale so it would have been impossible to have reviews.

From the Midlands, I have travelled to Ashford Kent southwards and Sheffield Manchester and the Wirral northwards.

Re: Ebay Items

Actually I'm in the process of clearing out tons of stuff. I know with hubby's health issues we're going to have to move eventually. Actually I just took baby steps exploring Amazon. Two nice surprises there. One was a fire fighting text. I got it just to cross reference another book. I paid like $3.99, the lowest beginning price for the same book $110.00.

Then there was a recent mass market book I put up for sale just to see how it works. It sold within hours. I've been donating trunkfuls to the local library. Have to look a bit more closely don't I?

Re: Ebay Items

Big money can be made buying and selling on Ebay. I haven't long paid just 550 for a server which was delivered from Germany and have very recently found a slightly lower powered version on Ebay UK for 4200!

As for travelling to wherever to pick stuff up I tend not to do that - delivered only for me. Kinda defeats the object of buying on line if you can't get it delivered?
