Re: Happy Tuesday Folk.

I have a Sniff test this AM at the hospital. Looks like a cold rainy day too. A Sniff test is Xrays taken while breathing in and out. Even the hospital registar didn't know what it was. Neither did my home nurse. Doing much better with oxygen now...shorter gasping spells.
Hope all of you in the group are doing well.

buenas dias all. Hot and sunny, no change there. A few jobs to deal with then late afternoon ChoCho has an appointment at the "beauty parlour". Much too hot to do anything strenuous so just a "take it as it comes" day. Have a lovely day all.

Re: Happy Tuesday Folk.

Good morning all, smashing weather here. I'm sitting out in the garden hut with the two doors wide open, they say it's going to be even hotter tomorrow.
We don't have those common grey Squirrels here Alan, we have the nice respectable little red chappies in our Phoenix Park.
Enjoy it while we have it Folks.

Re: Happy Tuesday Folk.

Had my eye test this morning and my optician is going to set the wheels in motion for my cataract operation. She reckons that I should get it done within 3 months. What I didn't realise that the substitute lens takes into account your lens prescription and you may not have to wear glasses. She reckons that it takes about 6 months for your eyes to settle after the op and in the meantime they lend you glasses to suit your eyes until they can give you your permanent glasses ifyou need them.

Re: Happy Tuesday Folk.

What worries me about my eyesight is that I might have to give up driving - our lives would be so much poorer if I had to do so.
