buenas dias all. Another hot sunny day here. I´m not too sure today on what´s open and what isn´t, cinco de Mayo tends to be a big celebration day in most Spanish speaking countries but this year it isn´t listed as a "red" day on the calendar, so I´m not sure what´s open and what isn´t.

I was 65 on 25th April, and so now get my state pension. As things have to work through the system the first payment should be in my account today, so I'm going into town to get a mini statement and find out.

Raining here. Woke to the sound of thunder this morning, I love it. That's one of my favorite things about summer, the thunderstorms.

They're supposed to end by noon, though.

I had to look that up because over here we go by fahrenheit, haha. You're at about 51 degrees.

Except I don't know what time it is over there, I'll have to check that too, LOL.......
