Re: Lonliness
Being on my own is a bit of a novelty at the moment, youngest just left home for uni, I'm never at a loss to fill my time with hobbies etc. but, I do miss having someone to go places with. Even though I have daughters who will go to garden centres, shopping etc. there's nothing like having a companion of your own age to socialize with. Being in a group is good but just not the same as having someone special. I think it's just as hard for women as men to be alone, men may miss being looked after, but women can miss looking after someone (now & then) too! Although saying that, I wouldn't want to have to share every waking moment, or have to ask if it's ok to go somewhere...Re: Lonliness
I think it's companionship that you are missing a bit Twizard, it does make a big difference, as you say someone to just share everyday life with.Re: Lonliness
I love living alone, I rarely see any members of my family but I do have a couple of close friends who I go on holiday with and we visit one another, it's just the right balance of contact for me as I really do enjoy my own company most of the time, the rest of the time I get on my own nerves!Re: Lonliness
