I am having a happy day, my daughter and granddaughter have just left and it was good to see my granddaughter laughing and not withdrawn.

My day began with an unexpected early morning phone-call from my friend.
There was no particular reason for the call and that made me happy

Well happiness day was a big success in our house today, the wife came back from the doctors as happy as a pig in muck, all her tests were OK. The two grandsons were here from school and they got great results in their exams, I won a few quid on the nags and I'm sprawled out on the armchair with a glass of port in one hand and a slim cigar in the other beside a roaring coal fire, Here's to the next happiness day, Cheers!

Well I've had a happy Happiness Day - been to see Vincent and Flavia (off Strictly) in a show - with lunch at Weatherspoons beforehand - my perfect day out :-)
