Baggy darlin' - tuck the ends down inside the shoe/boots after you've tied them.

There is too much to tuck down UJ, the last few pairs of trainers I have bought, I have had to cut at least two feet off the laces.

I've never owned a pair of trainers..so can't help Paul.
Even though I live in trousers now ('cos of the ugly leg) I wear sandals-Velcro-during summer and 'flatties' also Velcro during the winter.
What about Velcro trainers Paul? The tongue will have to be long enough for the fasteners to hold.

It wouldn't be very polite, walking about with your tongue sticking out, inviting a smack on the jaw, the best thing to do is to glue or sew an extra bit of material on, you can cut the piece from an old pair of trainers, or file a bit off your Dorsum, whichever is the handiest.
