The reason he's only suspended and not struck off is because he is entitled to a 'hearing' before the General Medical Council. He cannot be 'struck off' until such hearing takes place and the GMC makes that decision.

Karen darlin' - you're still entitled to a 'hearing' before dismissal is confirmed.
