Re: Happy Sunday Folk.

Good afternoon folks.

The wife and I have been to Church then done some shopping.

I'm making a pot of ham shank (and pretty much every vegetable on sale at Lidl) soup at the moment and Mrs OB is pot roasting a lovely topside of beef.

I don't think we'll have a three course meal tonight - starter and main will probably be enough.

Got through the funeral yesterday and we were all overjoyed by the amount of people who attended and had nice words to say.

Fortunately Dan had the foresight to reserve the space next to his late wife's grave when she died in 1993 and was thus buried next to her. I'm sure he would be content being so close to the woman he never stopped loving.

The gravestone will be erected on Tuesday which will mark the end of his "death" and the beginning of his eternal life.

Have a pleasant Sunday everybody.

Re: Happy Sunday Folk.

Good afternoon all, no snow here but plenty of rain. I have the fire lit since early this morning, it's bitter cold outside.
It's good that Dan is in the same plot with his wife Jim, I hope you are coping as best you can.
You have to look after the tools Losos, that dreaded rust is a killer.
Take care of yourselves folks.
