Re: The End of Writing as we know it?

I write with a pen so rarely these days that on the odd occasion I am required to do so I find it difficult

My writing was always appalling and full of mistakes (I am dyslexic) so the keyboard and spellchecker have been a huge help to me.

That said I think children still need to learn basic writing skills maybe with not so much concentration on them in schools .

Re: The End of Writing as we know it?

We still write quite a lot, can't make a list properly using anything but my little book of lists, letters to friends, notes in the communication book at work, notes and lists to fax to my boss at work, notes for people at work - clear your desk I can't clean it or similar. Notes and letters for each other, and neighbours too.

I don't think it will look as attractive all in print and will take longer to do too.

Also what if one day technology lets us down how will people learn it all again ?

And how would you put a "post it note" through the office printer...
