Ok not getting into the spirit of the post, but maybe good for a few days to catch up on my reading and some me time.
Sitting around ? you would be hard pressed to get time to do that, building a shelter, obtaining food and water etc that would take up most of your day light hours.

Re: Robinson Crusoe

You could swap your coconut oil for something else Julie, no doubt you'd be able to make your own, I'm sure there would be coconut palms on the island.

I've been to Robinson island in Kenya, beautiful, I would want a good mosquito net and plenty of repellent, a few crates of books, lots of seeds (hopefully to grow fruit and veg) lots of matches, lots of candles and an assurance that a boat would come and collect me when I got totally cheesed off, I would also need flares of course to let the boat know it was needed.

Re: Robinson Crusoe

It would be my idea of hell, and I'd be dead in a week. I can't do DIY, couldn't kill any animals, and would go nuts with boredom. I spent two weeks in the Maldives and that was bad enough. No, definitely not for me.
