On my first walk of the day, a guy passed me with a terrier type dog on a long lead. The dog ran back and bit my leg, fortunately for me I had my wellies on, so it didn't touch the skin, but I can see the bite marks on my welly. I told the man what had happened and got a half hearted apology. I told him that wasn't good enough, and he needed to sort the dog out before it did someone, especially a child, serious damage. If I have problem with the animal again, or hear that anyone else has, I shall certainly contact the police and hope they have it put down!
