Hi

Yes it was Tpin.

I am a bit stuck with that as often there are littlies involved, pushchairs and Babcha Ella ,who does not walk well with her huge suitcase full of stuff.

They have a parking enforcement transit parked up at Liverpool, next to the roundabout, which takes photos of anyone stopping on the roads to drop off or pickup.

This parking lark is big money.
Were you picking up the Polish lady Nadia, you told us about in a thread? If so, she'll be good company for you and be able to help you.

Hi

Unfortunately not.

The Babchas, the grandmothers, and Sabrina's friends and family are not coming this summer.

All the kids are going to Poland for the entire school holidays this summer.

Last night I picked up Dariusz, aka Derek, lovely 30 year old lad, he will be with me until the 22cnd, when he will be flying out with the kids.

Dariusz is a bit of a hunk, the local ladies love him.

Thanks for asking.

Re: Airport Drop off and pick up charges.

It's a rip off for trades too, my husband has to pay to park when he goes in to fill vending machines at Heathrow, pay for an identity photo badge too.

Obviously must be identifiable but I don't think the workman should have to pay for it.

Neither do I Julie, if the company have machines, where it is necessary to pay for parking when they are filled up, then the company should pay as it comes under expenses. I suspect they have made it so the people doing the job are self employed contractors and have to cover their own expenses.

Another method of reducing costs for the company!

Re: Airport Drop off and pick up charges.

@ Realist

Do you really, really believe that the airport authority deliberately delays the unloading of a plane to increase the length of time a car is parked???

Taking into account the tight timings needed to refuel, unload/load, search, clean etc...???

Risking a plane missing it's slot that can cost tens of thousands £'s, they wont risk this for an extra £2 on a parking charge.

Whoops! Sorry Tipin, l 'quoted' the wrong post!
I know Nadia didn't speak much English and Swimmy had fixed her up with an NHS cleaning job.
Instead, she could've mixed the cement in the mixer for you and done a bit of hod carrying!!
