When I was a child pedophiles were the norm, my town was full of them and often I came across them . Most like men damaged by the war.

Perhaps the village folk of the small Greek Islands do not live life through a pc and have retained family values.

That really just leaves the pharmacy .
Your comment reminds me seeing an older gentleman wait in line to simply tell a joke to the mail clerk. The clerk was nice enough to take the time to hear the joke. Thankfully the lime was long and the older gentleman did not think of telling the clerk another joke

What a beautiful thing to say Patsy, gave me a lump in my throat. It's reciprocated.

Some people, while I'm out running or walking make eye contact and I greet them with a 'Good Morning' most reply, but some just look away perhaps misunderstanding my intentions. But I have been verbally held captive Rodolfo on several occasions (I seem to attract the talkative) and having made my escape, regret later not been more social and understanding.

I know you are not very sociable Nom, so in a way, that makes it even nicer that you give these people a few moments of your time. You might be rather unsociable, but you do not lack kindness or compassion.

Its really hard to break away from the talkative kind. You don't want to be rude so you kinda sit there and wait hoping they will eventually take a breath

It seems Muddy, that as the world gets more efficient it becomes a place less tolerant of the people who it was designed to help.
