This is the coldest I have felt for years, our house is usually nice and warm during winter. At the moment I have two fleece jumpers on and I'm sat at the computer with a blanket over my lap. The blanket certainly makes the shivers go away.

Ffosse, as others have said, your house temperature is far too low and could cause you further health problems. Either turn the heating up or put on another layer of clothes. Wrap a wooly scarf around your neck ... or even wear a wooly hat indoors, anything that will keep you warm.
