May I suggest a special posting, called "The OFF Christmas Dinner Table" in which OFF members, either alone, or whatever, can drop in to the thread, take a seat at the table, say how their Xmas Day is going, exchange tales, about their day, swap stories, etc?
No video, just a quick chat, on the day, or stay on all day, if you want the Company!
Maybe someone can put a good Christmas table photo in to make it all look good.

You all do know that you can play board games online? Kids nowadays play Monopoly online!
Our Boris has told us not to play any board games on Christmas day, no hugging, no kissing and definitely no silverskin pickles unless they are cut in half and served in a blue & white dish.
