They're usually more tactful and instead allow Trump to set the tenor of US/Israel joined-at-the-hip chumminess.
Complete with enough arrogant bombast to make sane people weep.
For instance,
President Donald Trump has officially recognised Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Golan Heights, seized from Syria in 1967, in a move hailed as "historic" by Israel's prime minister.
Israel annexed the Golan Heights in 1981, in a move that is not recognised internationally.

Granted Israel have difficult and hostile neighbours but I've never understood why on earth Israel themselves don't suffer any sanctions for their blatant land grab and theft.
The peace their supporters claim they offer is nothing more than oppressive occupation backed by military might, one generously funded to the tune of billions of American dollars aided in the propaganda stakes by a President with a massive mouth.
