HiNo, I will not sign it.
It is yet another example of a complete waste of time.
The laws are already there, we simply do not enforce them.
That is simply down to PC Correctness , nothing else.
I have never been Military or Police, but been attached to both.
I am completely fed up with drunks calling A and E Nurses and Doctors Wogs and Pakis when we have to take them to be treated.
I am also completely fed up with them grabbing the boobs and crotches of the females treating them.
They are absolute scum, they should be treated as such.
The people who need to be Prosecuted in this are the NHS Managers who allow this to continue.

Should get rid of these so called managers and employ more security.

The impression I get is that if a drunk assaults (verbally or physically) a member of staff and is, as a consequence, ejected and told not to come back, then he is likely to claim compensation for not being treated. The gutter press would become involved, as would the ambulance chasers, and there would be the devil for the hospital authorities to pay. Such is the PC age in which we live at present.
If I'm right, what do they have to fear in repeating their appalling performance?
Yes, by all means put in place more security staff, but the healthcare staff should be offered legal protection for refusing to admit troublesome drunks.

The laws aren't really there violence against NHS staff isn't treated the same as against a police officer but it's entirely voluntary to sign or not. I want it discussed in parliament brought out into the open and only way to get that to happen is a petition with enough signatures on it to force it to happen.|
