A neighbour across the drive from me is English (the only Englishman around) and, bless him, he was out in his garden jumping up and down and his Rotties were doing the same

It is good to see that UK had a team in the world cup!

England will play the winners of Group D, who will be playing tonight ...... that will be either Ghana, Germany or Serbia. The winners of the group will play England on Sunday 3.00pm

Been a wonderful but nerve wracking day. Did all I had to do this morning then settled down for the match.....well worth sitting down for! Took Hatti girl for stroll after match and then celebrated the win with a chippy tea!

Many thanks, Mags! I am useless at following it! Haven't watched a game yet either but will watch England on Sunday and hope they win!
