Even living in flats we can't get away from them because sometimes a neighbour lets them in! Now listen 'ere Nomkins, a funny thing just happened.I had just got home from the vets half hour ago, and was out the front getting my bins in, when I was aware of a van pulling up next to me.
When I looked up, guess who it was? . . .
It was only my friendly block paving man again, sitting in his van grinning.
I called over and said . . "The answers still No."
Whereupon he grinned and replied . . "I got it wrong ya know. You asked me if I thought you had just fallen off a Christmas tree. I gave the wrong answer. I should have said "Yes, you were the Angel off the top."
What a smoothie.
He did make me laugh though - but I still told him to get gone.
