I'd better check my microwave...see if the plastic film is still on it!

Why do they make the doors so that you can't see in it very well? Imperative if you are heating milk! Times it's spilt over because I can't see it rising in the vessel it's in.

You´re not the only wally Julie, I´ve done the same thing with various appliances. The one that really made me feel stupid was when I had the new extractor fan over the hob in the kitchen. It wasn´t removing the steam, I got the kitchen fitter back and told him it didn´t work, he said it would if I removed the clear plastic film over the filters.
